Motherhood is HARD!

Motherhood has to be one of the most difficult things we willingly put our body through. Our bodies stretch and expand to house a human, we deal with hormone imbalances, skin changes, hair loss, swollen ankles and hands, back pain, lightning crotch, headaches, nausea, vomiting, hemorrhoids, exhaustion, heartburn, not to mention labor pains, and having to actually push a human out of a very small hole or have it cut out of your stomach.

Then there is the healing process, the lack of sleep, emotional roller coasters, breast-feeding pain, relationship issues, more hormone changes, and having 100% responsibility over these tiny little people when we have no idea what we are doing.

It’s not easy by any means but we do this willingly because the gift of having children outweighs the trials.

We are willingly sending our body to hell and back all for these little people. We deal with lack of sleep, pain, and more struggles than we thought was going to happen just to make them happy. If that’s not a sign of a good mom, and I don’t know what is.

It doesn’t matter if you raised your voice the other day or you lost your temper. It doesn’t matter if they ate hotdogs three days in a row or if your house is a mess. None of those things make you a bad mom.

You are providing them with food to eat, a place to live, a happy home and a loving mother. You are a good mom!

Don't forget that!
